Upcoming Mission Trip
El Salvador 2019
In 2019, we will be traveling to El Salvador to help dig a fresh water well. We are so honored to be partnering with Living Water International for the 10th time! Our next trip will be August 18-24, 2019. This is our second time working in El Salvador, and we are so excited to be giving the gift of fresh water to a new community!
If you are interested in attending, click the button below, and we will be able to reach out to you with more information!
Feed Durham is a community food drive that we are sponsoring in order to help supply the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. During the month of August we are encouraging our community to organize a party and to invite their friends, co-workers, and neighbors to partner with them in collecting 100 cans or other items. Our hope is to have dozens of these parties take place all around the triangle, with a shared goal of collecting 2,500+ items to donate to the food bank. The cans or other supplies collected at the parties will be dropped-off at STORYCHURCH on Saturday March 24, 2018 from 10AM-2PM. Visit www.feeddurham.com to learn more!
One of our passions is helping and equipping the local church. Part of all of our giving goes back into organizations like ARC and Converge, who help establish churches all around the world. Also Pastors Jeremy and Kimi have established a group called PlantRDU that gathers local church planters in the Triangle, feeding them, praying for them, and providing support.
We have partnered with Living Water International since the first year of our being a church, back in 2010. To date we have fully funded 9 fresh water wells all around the world! Take a look at some of our past trips by clicking below.
Part of our monthly giving goes toward World Relief Durham, which is a refugee resettlement agency that empowers the local Church to serve the most vulnerable.
We have had the honor to partner with Durham County Social Services by providing our facility for free and hosting their foster parent training program.
