Dinner Club – Bryan Setser and Robin Marcus

Participants will enjoy multi-course dinners and fellowship. Each dinner will have a theme, both in terms of the food served and for learning through conversation about food in the Bible. Group members will each be responsible for a component of each dinner (e.g. soup, salad, main dish, side, dessert, beverages) on a rotating basis. Child care will be provided.

Open to anyone.  Meets every other Thursday at 6pm, starting February 16.

Financial Peace University – Patrick Jernigan

Our class will meet for two hours each week for 13 weeks, during which time the average family pays off $5300 in debt and saves $2700. Gal’s Gathering – Kimi Copeland

This is a super casual connection group for ladies to get together to chat and munch. Guaranteed to have good conversation and yummy munchies each week.  If you have kids, feel free to bring them. On days with nice weather we may get adventurous and meet at a park.  Come and go as you like.

Open to women of all ages.  Meets Thursdays 10am-12pm, beginning February 10.

Game Night – Andrew and Heather Cron

The Games connection group is a relaxed group where we simply get together every other week and play games. We enjoy all kinds of games: board games, card games, video games, etc. We would love to learn your favorite games as well, so please bring recommendations to the group! There will also be some light snacks, but childcare will not be provided. Game on!

Manly Man Movie Night – Josh Grossmann

Car chases. Ninjas. Gun fights. Explosions. One-liners. Knife fights. Manly dancing. Aliens. Cyborgs. If any of that thrills you to the very core of your being, then Manly Man Movie Night is the group for you. But beware, only the manliest can survive this testosterone-driven grunt-fest.

Open to manly men.  Meets one Wednesday a month at 7:30pm, beginning February 15.

Outreach Connection Group – Stephen and Shanda White

We will be doing various things for our LOCAL community. Plans include cooking for the Ronald McDonald House, homeless ministry, serving the teachers at Spring Valley, and doing some incredible things for people in our church as well.  We would love to have you join our team and bless the people in our community and church.

Open to anyone. Meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 8pm, beginning February 9.

Sew, Picture This – Janet Jernigan

This group is for women of all ages who aspire to be crafty while hanging out with girlfriends. Scrapbooking pictures and sewing will be the primary crafts but you are welcome to bring any project.  If you currently don’t have a craft and just need some “girl-time”, feel free to come socialize and motivate us in our projects or learn a new one.

Open to women of all ages.  Meets one Friday a month at 8pm, beginning February 17.

Single Men’s Bible Study – Joel Philbrook

Have you ever asked yourself what is your place in this world as a single man? Have you ever struggled to find that balance in life with career, school and your walk with God? It’s a unique world with unique questions for a single man. With this group we will find out what the Bible says by looking at many single men that God has used mightily in the Scriptures. The goal for the next 12 weeks is to be stronger in our walk with God and to create lasting friendships.

Open to single men.  Meets Tuesdays at 6:30pm, beginning February 7.
